TURIN BIKE TOURS
TURIN BIKE TOURS
A few years ago, we literally fell in love with the city of Turin for its atmosphere, its understated elegance, the cafés, the incredible food culture and also for its events as well as the ebubbling and inspiring contemporary art scene. The more we get to know, the more we love it.
To say it with the words of the Lonely Planet “there’s a whiff of Paris in Turin’s elegant tree-lined boulevards and echoes of Vienna in its stately art nouveau cafes”, but its own personality and unique legacy is strongly uncontroversial.
Italy’s only true royal city and first capital of the unified kingdom, home of Italy’s car industry with FCA (FIAT), city of the first Italian cinema, Italian capital of Chocolate with its Gianduiotti, birth place of Vermouth and the Aperitif, it also gave birth to the Slow Food movement, what more could you ask for?
Not less important, Turin hosts the world’s most important Egyptian museum outside Egypt and some of the world’s most valuable historic artifacts and religious relics, among which the famous Shroud of Turin, as well as Leonardo da Vinci’s self-portrait and his Codex on the Flight of Birds.
Turin is also loved and explored by esoteric enthusiasts following the footsteps of the key to deciphering the prophecies of Nostradamus and the secret hideout of the Holy Grail.
Guided by our local insiders and our Turin bike tour guides, you will experience the top Turin tourist city attractions and sightseeing sites such as the Castle and Mole Antonelliana, as well as its green lung, the beautiful Valentino Park, and some hidden corners where our passionate guides will share with you some well-kept secrets.

Then head to the Castle of the Savoy Royal family, before entering the oldest part of the city with its roman ruins. Then pedal and breath along the spacious riverfront of the Po, the biggest river of Italy, surrounded by hills, like Superga, and gorgeous buildings, and enter the Valentino park, populated by birds and squirrels, where the Royal family used to spend their summertime days. BIKE & MARKET TOUR
Discover Turin cycling and tasting
Food is culture. Travelling is discovering other cultures by tasting, smelling, talking with locals and experiencing your destination with all your senses. That’s why we warmly welcomed a collaboration with Eataly.
Life is too short not to eat and drink well! Who can argue about it?
This is the motto of Eataly, that 12 years ago, on January 27th 2007, opened the first food and wine center in Torino Lingotto. Where there was the Carpano Vermouth factory, a place was born where to find high quality products at sustainable prices through the original format that foresees being able to buy, eat and learn. Cooking classes, guided tastings, meetings with great chefs and free education for children and the elderly create a correct perception of quality that makes the human being more satisfied and happy.
So in combination with your morning Turin Bike tour, you can now join an afternoon unique sensory experience: a real journey through the colors, smells and flavors of Piemonte’s and Italy’s specialties.
Expert Eataly guides will accompany you on a taste-rich food and wine itinerary in each corner of the Food and Beverage Market, during which you will learn about the great variety of regional and Italian products and more about the philosophy, history and values of Eataly.
The Market tour will lead you through the departments and restaurants and there will be a tasting at each stop in a “eat-pray-love”, delicious aperitif mood: Bakery, Salami & Cheese, Laboratory of Mozzarella, Butchery, Fishmonger, Vermouth directly from the excellence of Carpano Vermouth factory.
Taste buds are informed and please check any diet at the door!

WHAT OUR HAPPY CLIENTS SAY
GREAT WAY TO SEE TURIN WITH FAMILY
We had an excellent guide in Francesco when we did this bike tour on April 1st 2019. We were one adult and two boys aged 12 and 13. The tour was conducted with style and good humour by Francesco and allowed good time at many stops around the centre and lots of interesting information about the history and development of Turin. It is an excellent way to be introduced to the centre and then plan to return to specific places to explore further. It was a lovely clear morning and the cycling was all very managable for children of this age. Close to the station and easy to leave things you dont need on the ride but want for the rest of the day. Great fun and educational.

A SUPER ACTIVITY
We booked this late the night before and were met the next day by Giulia who gave us a great tour. She was educated in history and really knew Turin. Even the harder questions she had answers for. We went over most of Turin’s major sites and got all the history. Being on bike we did a lot more than walking. Bikes were well maintained and newer. A fabulous way to see Turin which is flat for biking and interesting.

BEST WAY TO SEE THE REAL TURIN!
This tour was the perfect way to see all the hidden gems of Turin and learn about the local culture, the history and the future of this city. Our guide, Marco, was amazing and answered all of our questions and knew everything about the city. The bikes are easy to ride for beginners and the city itself is very bike-friendly with bike lanes and big pedestrian areas to cycle in. Loved it!!
