EXPLORE OUR TOURS
Milan is much more that the Capital of fashion, design and business. The cosmopolitan Milan has become for travelers from all around the world, the best possible gateway to Italy: an unparalleled blend of inspiring art and architecture, both ancient and contemporary, cool hang-outs and good life, invigorated by one of the world’s finest cuisine.
Our Bike The City® tour was born in 2011 to reveal through the bicycle the lesser-know architectural beauty, artistic richness and culture appeal of the city Milan, as well as its greener facade. Read more on Milan bike tours
A few years ago, we literally fell in love with the city of Turin for its atmosphere, its understated elegance, the cafés, the incredible food culture and also for its events as well as the ebubbling and inspiring contemporary art scene. The more we get to know, the more we love it.
To say it with the words of the Lonely Planet “there’s a whiff of Paris in Turin’s elegant tree-lined boulevards and echoes of Vienna in its stately art nouveau cafes”, but its own personality and unique legacy is strongly uncontroversial. Read more on Turin bike tours
VERONA TOURS
Verona was always in our plans. To get to the origins of Bike The City® you have to fly to the romantic Paris, that we explored by bicycle under a heavy day of rain in September, but still loving each street and corner! Having said that, which Italian city comes to your mind for quintessential romantic love and passion?
But don’t get us wrong, for us Verona is much more than “Romeo and Juliet”, while their passion is still echoing in our company’s romantic beginning, we have chosen Verona also for its rare beauty and lifestyle. Read more on Verona bike tours
ROME TOURS
Rome, 1997. A young and penniless university student was shooting daggers at her scooter, a charming yet flaky red Honda Vision that had broken down once again.
The little money she had earned with her babysitting and private lessons had already been set aside for a trip to London, where she planned to go and stay for the summer, working and learning English; There was no way she could repair her old beloved steed, an essential in the urban survival kit of many Romans and companion of thousands of teenage adventures. HIGHLIGHTS AND HIDDEN GEMS OF MILAN BIKE TOUR
Pedalling through the city with us, you will go on a unique itinerary that reveals Milan at its best.
You will experience a fascinating city and you will uncover most of its urban myths and legends.
Milan is not only about its Cathedral and the Last Supper of Leonardo da Vinci, our aim is to make you experience much more!
For a flat and not-too-big city like Milan, the bicycle is the most effective and comfortable way of blending in and having a complete overview of the city in just a few hours. The ride starts from the ancient and bohemian Ticinese district, that owes its name to the eponymous city gate, and from there we saddle up on a classic Dutch-style bike through the must-see areas of the city center.
We will see the astonishing gothic Duomo Cathedral, the understated Royal palace, the chic Vittorio Emanuele Gallery as well as the world-known Opera House La Scala. From there we head to the Brera, the district of artist, that hosts the city’s Pinacoteca (Art Gallery) before leaping in time to immerse ourselves in the new rising architectures of the Porta Nuova district. We then make a triumphal entrance at the Sforza Castle, we breath and slow down a bit in the green lung of the city, Simplon park, with its elegant neoclassical Peace Arch. We get back to the starting point but not before visiting the Roman Ruins of the Imperial era when Milan was capital of a glorious Roman Empire with its Palace, Circus and Amphitheatre.
At the end of this journey you will definitely feel as though Milan is a part of you.

Take a sip at the “Barcaccia” by the famous sculptor and architect Gian Lorenzo Bernini before we ride towards a hidden gem: Palazzo Zuccari also know as the “house of the monsters” for its extravagant door.
And this is only a small percentage of what you will see: did you catch the vastity? See you there!
BIKE & MARKET TOUR
Food is culture. Travelling is discovering other cultures by tasting, smelling, talking with locals and experiencing your destination with all your senses. That’s why we warmly welcomed a collaboration with Eataly.
Life is too short not to eat and drink well! Who can argue about it?
This is the motto of Eataly, that 12 years ago, on January 27th 2007, opened the first food and wine center in Torino Lingotto. Where there was the Carpano Vermouth factory, a place was born where to find high quality products at sustainable prices through the original format that foresees being able to buy, eat and learn. Cooking classes, guided tastings, meetings with great chefs and free education for children and the elderly create a correct perception of quality that makes the human being more satisfied and happy.
So in combination with your morning Turin Bike tour, you can now join an afternoon unique sensory experience: a real journey through the colors, smells and flavors of Piemonte’s and Italy’s specialties.
Expert Eataly guides will accompany you on a taste-rich food and wine itinerary in each corners of the Food and Beverage Market, during which you will learn about the great variety of regional and Italian products and more about the philosophy, history and values of Eataly.
The Market tour will lead you through the departments and restaurants and there will be a tasting at each stop in a “eat-pray-love”, delicious aperitivo mood: Bakery, Salami & Cheese, Laboratory of Mozzarella, Butchery, Fishmonger, Vermouth directly from the excellence of Carpano Vermouth factory.
Taste buds are informed and please check any diet at the door!

WHAT OUR HAPPY CLIENTS SAY
We would strongly recommend this bike tour to anyone who wants to see the city and get a feel of the true Milan. The tour covers the historical and cultural aspects as well as looking at the cutting edge modern architecture and the cycling is mainly down the quiet mediaeval streets, passages, cycleways and quiet boulevards. Our guide Denise was lovely and her enthusiasm for the city made the tour very enjoyable. There are no hills to climb and the route is easy so good for any ability. Much better than a walking tour!
We had an excellent guide in Francesco when we did this bike tour on April 1st 2019. We were one adult and two boys aged 12 and 13. The tour was conducted with style and good humour by Francesco and allowed good time at many stops around the centre and lots of interesting information about the history and development of Turin. It is an excellent way to be introduced to the centre and then plan to return to specific places to explore further. It was a lovely clear morning and the cycling was all very managable for children of this age. Close to the station and easy to leave things you dont need on the ride but want for the rest of the day. Great fun and educational.
For context I’ve completed about 8 or 9 city bike tours across Europe, Asia and South America. We decided to visit Milan on a day trip from Lake Como. We had no expectations about Milan other than it is the commercial centre of Italy. We were wrong and I put it down to the tour we had. The guide was enthusiastic, passionate and educated having studied Art History. The tour was one of the best I’ve done. At each stop, our guide patiently gave us the history of the site and then pulled illustrations from his bag showing pre pictures of what the attraction may have looked like in past times. The tour wasn’t solely about the old but we were also shown many of the new attractions and buildings in Milan. Overall an excellent tour that sets the standard for bicycle tours across Europe Highly recommended.
